Per Troen
Per Troen, born in Denmark in 1955, holds a law degree from the University of Copenhagen. He moved to London in 1984 where he became the first foreign lawyer to be allowed to go into partnership with British lawyers and subsequently founded the first multinational law firm in London. In 1998 Per merged his practice into Osborne Clarke, and became partner with responsibility for Northern Europe. In 2002, Per was one of the founding partners of the law firm Corren Troen.
Per mainly focuses on corporate finance, venture capital and private clients. In 2001 Per was elected Chairman of the Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce, and knighted by the Royal Court of Denmark as "Knight of Dannebrog", for his contribution to Danish business interest overseas.
He is on the board of Latchways Plc, the St. Catherines College Oxford Development Board and a number of private companies in England, USA, India and Denmark. He is one of the founding partners of iadvisors.
